The ruling overturning the Do Not Call List is a good one. Not because I think we should be bothered at home (and now, on my cell phone). But because it should be applied evenly. The part of this rule that really irks me is: Why are politicians and charities exempt? In this age of medium multiplicity, it is more and more imperative that the government protect it’s people’s right to privacy — especially from the government itself. The right to privacy is the new legislative frontier for congress, and soon, people will be debating their stance on privacy as they debate the death penalty and abortion today.
