Chicago winters can be miserable. Period. There aren’t a lot of things you can do with deep, dark cold winters on the shores of Lake Michigan. In my attempt to make the most of any situation, here are some things I do to take advantage of the 6-months of frigid weather.
1) Play tackle football on deep, soft, snow. Any snowfall over 2 inches will do. Unfortunately, I’ll get to do this only twice in a year.
2) Take photos. I can do this at any time, but when you get four distinct seasons, might as well take pictures of all four.
That’s a shorter list than I would like. What do you do that’s fun and specifict to Chicago winters?
