On Friday I will go under the pliers and get all four of my wisdom teeth pulled out. Not a happy thought. But now that I’ve waited 8 years to do this I can’t wait to get it over with. Every time I put off doing something, that day inevitably arrives and I think “man, I should have done it back then.” Some things are worth procrastinating, some are not. This is a case of the nots. Why do we have wisdom teeth anyway? Is it a massive dentist conspiracy to extract our teeth and our money? Do they implant little wisdomlings when we visit the dentist as a baby? Do I sound like an anti-dentite?
Here’s a funny side-note. Wisdom teeth in Korean is called “love teeth” as in, when you get it, you’re old enough to fall in love.
