The Burbank thing
Wow, that wasn’t much of an airport. I think I’ve seen more organized daycare centers. On the bright side, I upgraded to a Kia Amanti (mini-review to follow) but it’s black and I look like a limo driver. The Courtyard Marriott at San Fernando is quite nicely renovated. Very modern-looking with a nice lobby. Reminds me a little of the W. And I’m apparently a Marriott Elite member. Guess that’s what 290,000 points gets you.

A certain C. Fong may have some recent experience with a certain “upscale” Kia that you may know something about. All I can say is that Hyundai’s are better than Kia’s, which may not be saying much (at least to those who despise Hyundai’s).
What did he think?
He definitely agreed with me that even if a Kia comes from the same company that makes a Hyundai, it’s still nowhere near the quality of one. Kia’s simply aren’t worth it. It’s a good thing CF only had the car on a rental (and a free rental, at that).
